Mom celebrated her 60th birthday last 7 Oct, and I pretend that I forget all about it.... hee heee...Nah.. I didn't really forget about it... just that I gave her present 1 week later. She wanted a white handbag and that's what I gave her... but that wasn't all...
Well, I decide to give her a surprise birthday lunch by inviting my aunt and cousin. Of course she has no clues as I told her to get dress and we be on our merry way. My cousin, Kak Yah was waiting for us at the MRT Station and of course mom was excited to see her. Than we meet my aunt at the Royal Crown Plaza lobby and we had a little surprise as she has Edwin with her. Mom was really surprise to see them both and just as excited.. going on and on about Ohhh I have no clue about all this.. she aint tell me nothing.. blah blah blah....
Kak Yah gave mom a nice pair of broach, to match her endless collection of scarves. Overall, I had a good time, I hope mom do too.... I know Kak Yah was enjoying herself with all the food spread....lol.
After lunch, we decided to hangout at my Aunt's place just to chill. Its been a good day for me, I hope for everyone too.
We planning to make another lunch date next month and I'm loving the idea. Its a good way to tighten the family ties and bring us closer. That's important to me, for these 2 ladies to whom I turn too when I needed help and shoulder to cry on. They been there for mom and myself and I'm very appreciative.

It was a good lunch, all the ladies that I give hoot about sitting and enjoying each other company, plus the food just as good. I wish I could invite more of my cousin to celebrate mom birthday, but I don't roll in that kind of dough....lol. So selective invitation and one I really care for takes precedent.

Happy b-day to your Mom. My mom is 60 too (shhh don't tell) and she is reliving her teenage years--running all over and chatting on her cell phone like crazy! It makes me glad.

I think mom has more social calls than I do, she gets all upset when the phone not working...lol.
