Lust - A Poem

Lust

Morning beautiful, that's what you said
In the morning hour of a peaceful stay
Your kisses like wine, it makes me sigh
Of how I longed for passion divine

Of lips so warm of eyes full of love
The tenderness in your touch oh how it grows
The longing in my mind my heart and soul
As it feeds on your desire of passion that flows
To a blissful fire that took holds
Of heat and lust that nature unfolds

That's my very first poem, wrote it 10 mins before I get called in for my yearly appraisal. I'm not a poet, I'm not good with words or fluent for that matters. It's not perfect, but for some reason I wanted to write that down. It's not perfect but it's mine.

Nice. Will send to Kwame Alexander (his agent is Marie Brown in NY; he also runs the slams in DC).

Who is the shy giraffe?

Don't read Eric Jerome Dickey. Soap opera stuff...
